Hello, and welcome or welcome back to the blog!
How are you today? I hope you stay productive, read a good book, get plenty of water and rest, and stay positive in the chaotic environment.
QUOTE FOR TODAY
Momentum begins with motion — start now, even if it’s imperfect. – The Good Trade
I read an article on The Good Trade (recently) about the importance of crafting. It’s more than making something useful and pretty, but it can help you be present and mindful. Crafting can increase your confidence and the ability to do things (other than stare at your phone). Crafting also makes you slow down and focus on what’s right in front of you.
I made my last DIY in February, which was some art for my bathroom. I’m really into large-scale pieces, so I thought I would make another plaster wall piece with a large canvas I got at Michaels and a used frame I found at the Re-Store. This is my 2nd one. This piece is 16 x 24, and I loved how this one turned out. It took a few days to complete, and some focus on how I would attach the frame to my canvas, but once I figured that out, it looks great in my small space.

For today’s post, I wanted to focus on unique DIYs, and I came across Sunday & Clay, which sells clay kits (#not sponsored)…LOL. But an all-in-one kit with everything you need to start your first project. So whether you want to order something for yourself or a small friend group, Sunday & Clay has something for you. These kits don’t require a kiln, but you can bake them. Their special air-dried clay is perfect for any small project, and Sunday & Clay also offers a monthly subscription.
Remember that working with clay is not the easiest DIY, but we’re all up for a challenge and learning something new.
Here are a few DIY projects I’ve pulled.

Friends, I hope this inspires you to make something. I (definitely) need a healthy distraction, plus these DIYs make great gifts. You’ll also get bragging rights when you say, “Yes…I made that.”
With that, I’ll end here. Thanks so much for visiting today, and don’t forget to follow the blog. Until next time. — Duces
