That’s a Wrap! Time To Unpack the Month of November on the Blog

Hello friends, and welcome or welcome back to the blog!

Quote for today
“I will honor Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all the year.”
― Charles Dickens

How are you today? I hope you are staying productive, reading a good book, getting plenty of water and rest, and enjoying the Season.

Here we are in December, and of course, I’m a few days behind with this post. The holidays can be stressful for content creators, and sometimes, I delay blog posts to allow myself the proper rest and time away.

Our Thanksgiving was great and stress-free. We had a good time with friends, ate good food, and had some refreshing libations. Overall, I didn’t post much because of October’s 31 days of Halloween and (oye’ with the poodles 🐩 already) hangover. (Do you know where this quote is from? – – Bonus point if you do…LOL)

***November posts!***

Here is a compilation of November.  Click on the image to link to the post.

Some Shopping

BLACK FRIDAY
Because my daughter is grown, we typically only get things for the house and items we need.  We were (definitely) not in anybody’s store because I don’t tolerate the crazy, so our shopping is mainly done online.  I’m still waiting for my items to arrive, but I picked up some wooden ornaments from Joann’s (that I’ll paint myself). Some garland from Kirkland’s, a tree topper (yes, another one because the one last year didn’t fit) from CB2.  The bigger purchase was a new Shark vacuum because my old one is on its last leg.  So, I upgraded to this cordless, auto-empty model, which should arrive soon.

Podcast and articles …oh my!

I love The Good Trade. I read articles on it almost every day. It’s the best site for just about everything. These are a few articles and podcasts I’ve been listening to this month.

November reading

I’ve only finished one title in November (Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay), but I did start reading a few. I’ve lost my mojo, and I’m trying to get that burst back in my reading. I created a book tracking page here on the blog to keep up with all the happenings.

CURRENTLY READING
They Thought They Buried Us, NoNieqa Ramos
Holly, Stephen King
Midnight Feast, Lucy Foley

I honestly don’t know if I’ll finish Holly by the end of the year, but I’m on track to finish the other two, and with those, I will have completed my GR 2024 Book Challenge.
