It’s A Month of Mysteries In November!
Hello Friends, and welcome to the blog today.
“The possession of knowledge does not kill the sense of wonder and mystery. There is always more mystery.”
― Anais Nin
November has always been our mystery month; from movies to books and games, we love them all. Today, I want to share some of the films we’ve seen and 10 great mystery titles to take you into the winter season.
I hope everyone is doing well and not stressing about the Thanksgiving holiday. Give yourself grace from all the ills of the world. Our current environment can be toxic. Drink plenty of rest and get your rest.
All the Movies
My daughter has a knack for finding modern mysteries (which I enjoy), but we also watch several classics. There are still just a few more on our, which I’ll share later, but for now, here’s a quick list of what we’ve seen so far.
Great Mysteries for the 2024 Season
There are so many other great mystery novels to read this season, but these are the ones that I keep hearing about or that keep showing up in my feed. I’ve also read four books from this list and was approved to read A Grim Reaper’s Guide to Catching a Killer. (I’m excited!)
I Need You To Read This, Jessa Maxwell
Murder Road, Simone St. James
The Silent Patient, Alex Michaelides
The Hitchcock Hotel, Stephanie Wrobel
The Enigma of Room 622, Joel Dicker
The Midnight Feast, Lucy Foley
We Solve Murders, Richard Osman
A Grim Reapers Guide to Catching A Killer (A SCYTHE Mystery), Maxie Dara
Middle of the Night, Riley Sager
Home is Where the Bodies Are, Jeneva Rose
Mystery Titles I’m Reading Now
I’m currently reading Holly and while there’s mystery there more horror elements but it still fits and listening to Lucy Foley’s …The Midnight Feast. I love all her titles.
Friends, I’ll leave you here. Are you watching anything special for November, or are you already watching and reading Christmas titles? It’s way to early for me, but let me know in the comments.
