It’s October, friends, and Day #4 in my 31 Days of Halloween Series. If you missed any posts this week, check out the voice intro and the links for Days 1-3 below in this post.
This week, I have focused on (all things) Halloween decor and mentioned a few stores on Day #3, but I want to share a few places to find great items without breaking the bank.
Best Stores to Shop for Halloween Decor!
Michaels (good discounts)
You can find a plethora of Halloween-themed decor here. However, this chain releases Halloween items in July and goes on sale in August. September prices stay the same, and October is cheap, but most of the good stuff is gone. Most people aren’t thinking about Halloween in the Summer, but I’ve found some great deals around the 1st week of October.
Amazon (priced right)
Of course, Amazon is your #1 spot for all things. Sometimes, things are marked down, but there’s never (really) a sale here; it’s search, read the reviews, add to the cart, and check out. Amazon has gotten better over time, but you still have to be wary of things that are (too) cheap. There is a reason for that.
TJ Maxx (just right)
If I were in the market for decor, this would be a great place to find a few accent pieces within my budget.
Grandin Road (higher)
Another great spot for Halloween decor is Grandin Road. This store is more pricey, but they have great sales and outdoor decor.
Pottery Barn (pricey)
Well, you know Pottery Barn. Some items are just too expensive, but others are a good deal, so I wanted to include them.
Etsy (prices vary)
Etsy has the most unique handmade decor. The prices are mostly reasonable, but the shipping may be slower, so order ahead of time for the season.
