Hello precious, and welcome to Day #2 of the 31 Days of Halloween.
Halloween Quote
“Halloween wraps fear in innocence as though it were a slightly sour sweet. Let terror, then, be turned into a treat.” – Nicholas Gordon
Friends, this week is all about Halloween decor because it’s the first thing you do to get ready for the 31st. It’s Day 2 of the series, and if you missed the intro, check out Day 1.

Today, I’m sharing some witchy Hocus Pocus-themed Halloween decor.
I’ve been trying to achieve this (shown below) in my entryway for two Halloween seasons. I’ll add one or two items I may pick up in a Michaels’s clearance bin or something thrifted. The source of this image is unknown on Pinterest, but I love this style.
The only thing I haven’t been able to find is a decent broom. I know many people make theirs, but I’m not near an area where I can forage, so If I see one cheap, I’ll get it; otherwise, I’ll repeat the same thing from last year.

My Version from 2023
Unfortunately, it goes differently because, like most people, we use this area, so I can’t change it drastically. It has to function as a place for keys and things we need, which is why you can see the storage on the bottom. Trust me, I’m in love with Halloween, but I also have to be realistic about my space and what I can do with it.
Additional items to create the look are super moss, spider webbing, miniature skulls, and potion bottles (found at) Micheals or Joanne’s Crafts.

These are items that I’ve purchased over time at different stages and sometimes during the off-season. I know not everyone goes all out for Halloween (nor should you try). This is just something that I enjoy doing.
Well, my pretties (you get that reference right…LOL), I’ll end this post here. Feel free to pin
