When I Reminisce Over You …”For Real”

Hello friends, and welcome or welcome back to the blog!

Quote for today
“Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons.”― Jim Bishop

Hello, beautiful people. How are you? Are you happy to finally see a cool down, I know I am. Remember to stay hydrated (even as the temperature changes), get plenty of rest, and treat your body well.

I reminisce about Fall in the summertime without even realizing it—the beautiful colors, candle scents, people busying around, and the atmosphere. I always say that I never get to do anything, but when I think about it, I do. I shop for a few trinkets here and there, go to museums and fall festivals, and take advantage of my city.

So today, I’m sending you some Fall vibes with inspiration via music, activities, and a cute printable.  I post this every year as it’s one of my favorites, with just a few updates.

Let’s start with some Fall inspo…

When I think of this early Fall, I think of the sights and scents of the season.  The leaves haven’t begun to change, but everything is maple, brown sugar, apple, and pumpkin.  The colors are warm, shops have their fall menus with seasonal sweets, and we settle into a norm of work, school, and activities.

The music

I start listening to my Fall playlist on Tidal in August.  Maybe because it’s hot or I’m miserable, and I want to think of things that relax me.  Really I’m in love with music, so I’ll use any excuse because music envokes a good feeling. So, here’s the short version of what I’m playing.

What to do?

There are so many events where I live (DC area) to take advantage of during the fall season, but you can also make your own fun.  Between library sales, museums, and flea markets, there’s always something to do.  Check out your local city paper to find out what’s happening. Here’s a quick list of my favorite things to do at home and in my city.

Is it This or That?

I created this printable about five years ago, and it’s been through several revisions. It’s the older version that’s popular on Pinterest. I’ve tried to link readers to an updated one, but change is hard. (LOL) See my free This or That printable below. It’s great for middle schoolers and up.

Well, friends, I’ll end this post here.  I’ll make the printable available on my free printables Page.  Don’t forget to follow and subscribe to my little piece of happiness. — Peace
