The Ultimate Guest Bedroom!
Hello Friends, and welcome to the blog today!
My Daily Reading: What are you especially enjoying during these summer days? – The Good Trade
I hope everyone is doing well, staying hydrated, getting plenty of rest, taking their vitamins, and giving themselves some grace. The dog days of Summer are here, but September approaches, and there is excitement in the air.
Yes, I (literally) can’t wait for the Fall Season. I’m already thinking about decorating, trying new hot beverages, easy Sunday dinners, and a general slowdown. I realize that Summer is the initial slowdown because school stops and people start to relax, but my time is Fall. When it gets dark earlier, the temperatures are cooler, and I can rock some combat boots and scarves.
Yes, there I go again, getting all dreamy-eyed, 😵 but I’m getting to a point somewhere. (LOL) During our summer travel and travel in general, where you stay (actually) matters. Whether you stay with relatives, in hotels, or in Air B&Bs, they all have some benefits, but there’s nothing like home, where things are just where you need them.
That got me thinking about my new home and my potential guest room. What makes family or friends comfortable? What do they need in terms of a room? Well, I’ve come up with a short list that will have you asking your guest, “ok, when are you leaving?” LOL
The Ultimate Guest Bedroom
When I’m staying with family, I never want to bother them with anything or disrupt their daily routine, so I kept that in mind when I made this list. I think there are a few key things that a guest room should have, and the rest …well, I’m just being “fancy.” ♕

Right now, I don’t have the luxury of having a guest bedroom, so I let my family use my room. I pull out extra blankets and towels, clear the surfaces on my desk, clear the bathroom of all my junk, and make space in my closet. I don’t want family and friends to feel like they are invading my space. I want them to sit back and relax when they are here.
Friends, I’ll end this post here. Thanks so much for visiting the blog today. Don’t forget to follow and subscribe. — Peace
