How Do You Reset?
Hello, lovelies, and welcome back to the blog!
I hope you are doing well and getting plenty of rest. Stay hydrated, enjoy the sunshine, and care for your mental and physical health.
I try hard not to follow too many trends on the “University” of YouTube, but it’s hard not to. Lately, I’ve been seeing many folks post their monthly or weekly rest, and it got me thinking about how I do the same thing without the fancy name. (LOL)
It depends on your family dynamic and how you run your household. My daughter is older (still living with me), so I don’t have to go to school, shop, and meal prep in that manner, but I do still prep. Since I work three days a week, I still need a reset, so I’m prepared for the coming week. This would also change if I were living alone. You can stretch out things a little longer when you’re not preparing meals for a family.
Monday is a great day of the week (for me) because I want to relax on the weekend. If I have chores, I’ll give myself 2 hours to get it done and then give my body what it’s calling for rest.
BY THE WEEK
These are tasks that I must get done every week. It’s all about prepping for work and making my mornings stress-free.
BY THE MONTH
My month reset is a little more detailed because these are only done once a month or every other month. Since I’m back at work, I’m going through many things more frequently.
