Countdown to Christmas: Gift Wrapping Ideas (Re-Post)
Hello friends, and Merry Christmas!
It’s Wednesday, how is everyone today? I hope everyone is doing well today, enjoying some Christmas Holiday fun, and checking in with friends and family.
There are times when I create a post that I enjoy so much that I’ll repost it again. Today is that day, and I’m reposting some gift-wrapping ideas. In general, how do you feel about wrapping presents? Are you a “Love it” type of person, or do you just find a bag to put it in and be done with it?
Yes, I know not everyone cares about wrapping that will be torn off and discarded, but for me, it’s more about the actual wrapping because it’s craft or DIY that I enjoy doing. In the past few years, I’ve leaned towards the less flashy (or glittery) paper to use craft paper, a few prints, or black paper that I can dress with ribbon. I really wanted some of the fabric ribbon that I see everywhere, but I missed the ball on that. The only time I’ll use a bag now is if the gift is an awkward shape, and there are even tutorials to make your own.
There are also certain DIY tags that I was able to reuse this year, saving even more of my coins. The only thing I purchased was paper and velvet ribbon. I really wanted a minimal style of wrapping. Of course, you can go completely eco-friendly and stamp your own paper, using only ribbon and no tape. (Now that’s gangsta…LOL, I’m not that good)
Gift Wrapping Ideas from Pinterest
I always search for my favorite place for all things …Pinterest, but I’ve also found some great videos on YouTube as well. I know …no one needs to be told how to wrap a Christmas gift; I’m mainly looking for simple ways to adorn my gifts. With that said …on it goes!

I love watching how other folks style their gifts for the season and the everyday objects they use. Those are really great ideas.

My Gifts (2022)
The craft paper is a little hard to work with (because it’s really structured), but I love the simplicity. The rest is ribbon, photos, greenery, and scrap paper.
Now that’s all said and done, let’s get wrapping! Thanks so much for visiting, and Happy Holidays.
I love this post! I’m all about using natural elements to decorate my home. I would love to use them for decorating gifts. It adds a special touch to the gift and the person.
And they last. I reused most of my homemade tags I made last year. I also love using pictures if you don’t want to write out names you can put a picture on top of the gift.
