6 Easy Bake Cast Iron Skillet Desserts
Let’s cozy up to September!
Hello beautiful friends, and welcome to the blog today. I’m quite happy for rain and cooler temps this week. I hope everyone is doing well, staying hydrated, and allowing yourself some grace in all things.
In my mind’s eye, I always saw September as everyone getting back to business which meant a slowdown of Summer (esq.) activities. For me (however), it’s been busy, and I’ve barely had time to do the minimum. This week since I’m physically in the office (it’s such a drag), there’s even less time to be in my kitchen trying out some new things.
I’ve been trying a few cast iron desserts. One, because they are easy, and two, I can do everything all in one pan, and clean-up is a breeze. So far, I’ve tried two recipes; the peach cobbler is my favorite. The blueberry (meh), but maybe that’s because I don’t really like blueberries, but they provide more health benefits, so I’m trying.
Pinterest has become my one-stop spot for 70% of any new recipes, so check out these tasty desserts.

I can’t wait to try the four I haven’t done, but what I’m most excited about is the Chocolate Chip Cookie and the Dutch Apple Skillet. They look scrumptious.
Have you ever baked anything in a cast iron skillet? How did it turn out? Let me know in the comments. Thanks, friends, for spending your time with me today and visiting the blog. It is greatly appreciated.
Until next time …✌🏾
That skillet brownie and cookie both look amazing; I have always wanted to try making a giant skillet dessert but have yet to actually try one.
They are fairly easy…welll that was my experience with the peach cobbler and the blueberry. The only issue is storgage because you have to cut it up and deconstruct it so it’s not as pretty.
I’ll keep that in mind when I make these. Thanks for the tips!
I’d definitely say Pinterest has been a lifesaver for the kitchen. These dishes look so delicious. I can’t wait to try them, thanks! Hope you’re enjoying the fall season.
