Spring Decor Accents for Your Home
It’s Tuesday, how ya’ll fellin’!

Hello friends, what’s good? It’s a beautiful day to have a beautiful day. It’s only the 2nd day of the week and I feel like I’m dragging, but I press on. I hope you are taking care of your body and mind, drinking plenty of water, and staying connected with friends and family.
Now that we’ve got our spaces all clean and prepped. (check out my last post on my favorite cleaning products), it’s time to add a little decor and some Spring accents.
My home (pretty much) stays the same, and I’ve got the same moody winter art, and black candles so it all seems so heavy. It doesn’t take much to brighten up a space, and I don’t need it dripping with flowers in a mantra that says “Happy Spring“. I just want a few accents to touch up my place.
Here are a few things that I’m loving this season.

Added Touches
(COLORS) Beige, Cream, and terracotta tones will always brighten a space and it’s a color palette that can be used during spring and summer. All my vases are dark so I would love to brighten things up with some lighter tones and new greenery.
(LINENS) The same goes for your sofa pillows and throw blankets. Instead of that dark color that got you through winter, you can always add a hint of the season by using light colors and blush tones.
(ART) Changing out your artwork to flowers, a Summer forest scene or a beach scene is a great way to brighten up your space. Mine is filled with dark, moody tones, so I will swap out most of my artwork.
(TCHOTCHKES) Table Knick-Knacks, Bells, paperweights, a vintage magnifying glass, or trinket boxes can really add a personal touch to your space because it gives your home a collected look. I love it when someone asks about a decor trinket or little piece …especially if there is a story behind it.
Thank you for spending a little time with me here today. Don’t forget to subscribe if you enjoyed this post. Have a great weekend. — Peace
