So Many Books, But So Little Time
Welcome to the blog today, how’s your week so far?

“I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library..” ― Jorge Luis Borges
Hello friends and happy Wednesday. It’s a good day to have a good day. I hope you’re enjoying some milder temps, taking care of your mind and body, and getting plenty of rest and water.
In January I posted about my Good Reads Challenge for the year. I’ve been doing the challenge for about 3-4 years now and it’s always a great feeling to read more and escape my day. Whether is a memoir, thriller, horror, or mystery there’s nothing like tucking into a good book.
All that being said …I know me. It’s easy to add every book from here to eternity to that challenge list but in all honesty, I know I’m never going to finish them all. I thought it would be fun (today) to list all the books that didn’t make my good reads list.
This is because of timing if the book is new, or the premiere date. Also by December, the previous year’s books are already added to the upcoming year.

Murder Your Employer: The McMasters Guide to HomicideAuthor: Rupert Holmes Who hasn’t wondered for a split second what the world would be like if a person who is the object of your affliction ceased to exist? But then you’ve probably never heard of The McMasters Conservatory, dedicated to the consummate execution of the homicidal arts. To gain admission, a student must have an ethical reason for erasing someone who deeply deserves a fate no worse (nor better) than death. The campus of this “Poison Ivy League” college—its location unknown to even those who study there—is where you might find yourself the practice target of a classmate…and where one’s mandatory graduation thesis is getting away with the perfect murder of someone whose death will make the world a much better place to live. |

This is only the first 10. There are SEVERAL more that I didn’t list…yes there are always so many books and so little time. What books are on your list this year? Share some titles in the comments because I’m always looking for recommendations.
Thank you for spending a little time with me here today, I appreciate you. Have a great week. — Peace
and start creating your next project
The Golden Spoon sounds like something I’d really enjoy!… but my list is quite long as well and I feel like I never even make a dent in it. It does change constantly and I shuffle books around priority wise all the time.
My list changes as well, and it also depends on the availability of library books via the Libby app. All the popular reads have a wait list of 4-6 months, which in that amount of time if I wanted it I could easily purchase the book. Typically I will purchase or I’ve been gifted the first 5 books on my list, so it makes it easy …well that is until I see something else. LOL
