Journals for the New Year!
Hello Friends and welcome to the blog today!
The weekend is almost here, how are you? I hope your days are going well and that you’re staying hydrated (even in the winter). Most importantly, check in with friends and family. The winters short days and long nights can be lonely.
I’m all about a journal. I use them for my blog, a blank journal for my budget planning, and an online journal when I need to get it out faster than what my fingers will allow.
Journals can be a great place to dump your thoughts and make plans or lists. You can leave it all on the page and never have to look at it again. Just the exercise of getting it out of your system can be cathartic.
Here are just a few of the many sources you can use to start journaling. I’ve found most of my journals from Amazon, Walgreens, or The Paper Source. You can literally find them everywhere.

Who doesn’t love handmade? I’ve found some of the most interesting items on Etsy. You can customize your pages, get a vegan leather-bound journal, or even one that looks like the “book” from Hocus Pocus.

Vintage/Gothic Style Journal
Rifle Paper
In my humble opinion, Rifle Paper has the pretties journals. Granted you can find pretty journals anywhere but I just love the quality.

I hope I’ve given you some motivation to start journaling. It’s not easy sitting down to write but it’s good practice. I went from writing every day to only writing once every 3 months, and there’s no excuse because I have all the sources I need. While I can’t promise that I will write every day (because I’m here), I would like to get in a habit of a monthly update, just as a means of therapy.
With that, I’ll close this post today. Stay well and stay warm my friends. Thanks so much for visiting the blog and don’t forget to follow and subscribe. – Know Thyself
Oooof! Dangerous post for a journal addict haha! I love thé Etsy ones but I’m curious to try the Rifle co!
I know they are great. There’s one on Etsy that I have my eye on …not like I need another journal but it’s not hurting anybody so why not. LOL
