The Best of 2022: Sunday Podcast Series
Hello friends and welcome to the blog today.
QUOTE FOR JANUARY
“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.”― Edith Stillwell
I hope everyone is doing well, taking a reset, and making a fresh start for 2023. Also, try something new for 2023 like sending a card or a handwritten note to a friend or family member, just a little note can do wonders in making someone feel good during this season.
I’ve continued this week (especially since I’m off) to clear more of the clutter. Watching some of my favorite YouTubers really helps motivate me to clear out some of my cabinets and drawers and assess what I need to keep and what needs to go.
It boils down to what you value. Do you value “things” or space? I can’t make my space bigger, it’s where I live, so it’s best to take a deeper dive and really ask myself…do I need 12 different knives or just the ones I use every day.
I’ve managed to fill one shopping bag and I’ll continue this throughout the month of January. Back to the blog …today will be my last “look back” post for highlights of 2022 as I go back through all my podcasts.
And so it goes...
I promised myself that I would do more podcasts in 2022 and I held to that for a time. I’m proud of following through with getting them posted, and planning the content, even if it was just 10 minutes, it was something I set out to do, and something I want to keep doing in 2023.

September was my last monthly update because I knew with October coming that I couldn’t take on BlogTober (31 Days of Halloween), a Maryland Lore Podcast, and a blog and life update podcast, it was all too much. I’ve learned the hard way that when you try to do everything, you end up doing nothing.
I’ve pondered whether or not 2022 would be my last year of blogging and the jury is still out because guess what …it’s 2023 and I’m still here. I’m gonna ride this thang till the wheels fall off (so to speak). I will continue my podcast as I wanted to steer toward mysteries, but for now, I’ll stick with weird tales and scary stories.
This ends my post today and my “Best of the Best of 2022” on the blog. I’m still free-styling my blogging schedule as I plan out more content for 2023. Thanks so much for visiting, and have an excellent week. — Peace
