A Thanksgiving Holiday **BREAK**
Hello Friends and welcome to the blog today.
Gnight, November

CHILL, November. CHILL.” Lin-Manuel Miranda
It’s the cusp of Thanksgiving and all through the house, everything was a jumble as we work these tasty dishes out…LOL. How is everyone doing today? I hope you’re not too stressed about your holiday entertaining. Please take the time to enjoy friends and loved ones on this day of thanks.
For the next few days, I’m taking a much-needed break for the holiday. I’m having a couple of people coming in, and I really just want to decompress and enjoy cooking some favorites, having a few libations, and maybe shopping for some Christmas wrapping.
Here are a few things that I featured on the blog in November. I’ll do a complete wrap-up on November 30th.
New Podcast Series!I’ve continued my podcast through the month of November. Check out the Chilling November Tales Podcast on Spotify. |
Thanksgiving Day Checklist!I created a Thanksgiving Day prep checklist. My list has been helpful for me to make sure I say on track. Check out that post here. |
Thanksgiving Table Decor Ideas!I’m always looking at ways I can update my table, and last year was the best I’ve done. I love looking at Pinterest for new inspiration. Check out that post here. |
Reviews!
I also managed to get in a few reviews and knock those things off the list.
November-December Mysteries
This is the time of year when we tuck in and watch several mysteries (old and new). So far I’ve seen “The Lady in the Lake”, “Death on the Nile” (1978), and “LA Confidential”.
Some great mysteries to check out this weekend are:
See How They Run
Bullet Train
Dial M for Murder
Knives Out
Clue
Murder by Death
Death on the Nile
Sherlock Holmes: The Hounds of the Baskervilles
Suspision
Rear Window
Charade
Laura
Murder on the Orient Express (1974)
Thanks so much for visiting the blog today. I want to wish everyone a happy, and safe Thanksgiving Holiday. I’ll see you back next Wednesday with a complete November wrap and plans for December. Don’t forget to follow and subscribe. Until then…Happy Thanksgiving!

The same to you Susan! Have a happy Turkey Day!
Thanks for the suggestions. Have a great thanksgiving full of laughter, food, and rest (if possible). ☺️
It was great and restful after all the cooking. It felt like a marathon this year but my daughter and I made it work. I hope you had a great holiday with your sweet bundle, best wished to you and your family.
