31 Days of Halloween: Day #28 …My Halloween Movie Binge
Hello and Welcome to Day #28 of the 31 Days of Halloween.
Halloween Quote
“It’s up to each of us whether or not we lock the door, and find our resolve or let evil inside.” (Laurie) Halloween Ends
What’s up people and how are you? I hope everyone is doing well, staying hydrated, checking in with friends and family, and enjoying some fun Halloween activities.
As we come to the end of the road in this series I get around to what I really watch on Halloween or anything at all. Of course, we’re watching movies. It just wouldn’t be Halloween if Wyetha wasn’t watching something.
Each year we have a different theme, although I can’t remember what I watched last year. I know the year prior was a Jamie Lee binge, and the year before that was all about the Paranormal. Sometimes we break things up into different days.
It’s gonna be a Morbid Monday and here are all the movies we plan on binging on Halloween.
Granted we do have work but that’s never stopped us from watching movies during the day before. I figured if we start at noon we can get everything in. We may do 1 or 2 trivia games but we are saving most of those for another time.
Insidious
Parents (Patrick Wilson, and Rose Byrne) take drastic measures when it seems their new home is haunted and their comatose son is possessed by a malevolent entity. (IMBD)

Us
Accompanied by her husband, son, and daughter, Adelaide Wilson returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child. Haunted by a traumatic experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, the family is horrified to learn that each attacker takes the appearance of one of them. (IMBD)

Blair Witch 2
A young man and his friends venture into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland to uncover the mystery surrounding his missing sister. Many believe her disappearance 17 years earlier is connected to the legend of the Blair Witch. At first, the group is hopeful, especially when two locals act as guides through the dark and winding woods. As the night wears on, a visit from a menacing presence soon makes them realize that the legend is all too real and more sinister than they could have ever imagined. (IMBD)

It (Maybe/The Original)
In 1960, seven pre-teen outcasts fight an evil demon that poses as a child-killing clown. Thirty years later, they reunite to stop the demon once and for all when it returns to their hometown. (IMBD)

28 Days Later
A group of misguided animal rights activists free a caged chimp infected with the “Rage” virus from a medical research lab. When London bike courier Jim (Cillian Murphy) wakes up from a coma a month after, he finds his city all but deserted. On the run from the zombie-like victims of the Rage, Jim stumbles upon a group of survivors, including Selena (Naomie Harris) and cab driver Frank (Brendan Gleeson), and joins them on a perilous journey to what he hopes will be safety. (IMBD)

The Conjuring (Not sure which one yet)
In 1970, paranormal investigators and demonologists Lorraine (Vera Farmiga) and Ed (Patrick Wilson) Warren are summoned to the home of Carolyn (Lili Taylor) and Roger (Ron Livingston) Perron. The Perrons and their five daughters have recently moved into a secluded farmhouse, where a supernatural presence has made itself known. Though the manifestations are relatively benign at first, events soon escalate in horrifying fashion, especially after the Warrens discover the house’s macabre history. (IMBD)

I’ve seen every movie on this list at least once but my daughter hasn’t seen 28 Days Later, or Blair Witch 2. So it should be a fun day. We will probably make a few snacks (Hocus Pocus Brownies), and of course good old candy.
We plan on having a laid-back day. I’m not sure if I’ll get any trick-or-treaters, but I do have plenty of candy. The following weekend we’re making up for our Halloween game night by doing it at a later time with friends.
Well friends I’ll end this post here, don’t forget to like and subscribe. I’ll see you back here tomorrow. — Happy Halloween!
