31 Days of Halloween: Day #5 …What’s on Netflix for October 2022!

Hello Friends and welcome to the blog and Day #5 in my 31 Days of Halloween!

I hope everyone is doing well on this October day, enjoying some Fall activities, checking in with friends and family, and feeling good.

I’m moving along in my series with more movie goodies. Netflix has upped its game when it comes to original programming, and I can always find something good.  Whether it’s something I’m seeing for the first time or re-watching a favorite movie or series, there’s always something for everyone.

Today I’m sharing what’s on Netflix for October (Halloween)

I haven’t seen any of these yet just trailers or I’ve read the book (I.e., Mr. Harrington’s Phone from the novel, “If It Bleeds” by Stephen King), but I can’t wait to spend an evening diving into something new.

Mr. Harrington’s Phone

STORY: When Mr. Harrigan dies, the teen who befriended and did odd jobs for him, puts his smartphone in his pocket before burial and when the lonely youth leaves his dead friend a message, he is shocked to get a return text. (IMBD) Premiers October 5th!

The Midnight Club

STORY: Inside a hospice for terminally ill teens, members of an exclusive club make a chilling pact: The first to die must send a sign from beyond the grave. (Netflix) Premiers October 7th!

Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities

STORY: This anthology of sinister stories is told by some of today’s most revered horror creators, including the directors of The Babadook, Splice, Mandy, and many more. (IMBD) Premiers October 25th!

28 Days Haunted

STORY: Three teams each spend 28 days in some of America’s most haunted locations for a paranormal experiment based on the theories of Ed and Lorraine Warren. (Netflix) Premiers October 21st!

Wendell & Wild

STORY: Two scheming demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, must face their arch-nemesis, the demon-dusting nun Sister Helly, and her two acolytes, the goth teens Kat and Raul. However, Raul cannot see them so Kat helps Wendell and Wild to help him. (Netflix) Premiers October 21st!

This year I included a bit of everything, from teen movies to paranormal, and a short-stories series.  Let me know if you decide to check out any of these movies in the comments.
