Songs of Summer Playlist…What Songs Remind You of Summer

It’s Wednesday, and it’s a good day to have a good day. I hope everyone is doing well, getting outside into the sunshine, staying hydrated, checking in with friends and family, and living your best life.
There are certain mile-markers on my blog that mark the year’s progression. January’s look back at the previous year. Books for Spring and Summer, Fall Bucket List, 31 Days of Halloween, and my Summer Playlist. These songs (old and new) remind me of Summers in DC as a kid, then through my adulthood, and the mellow jazz of my mature years.

As Summer approaches I love that we have a few more daylight hours. What I don’t love are the bugs and sticky hot weather. If you live in the DMV or anywhere south you’ll know what I mean. At least I have some good music to distract me.
Music is more than background noise …it’s the soundtrack of life evoking memories and making you feel good.
