The 12 Days of Christmas: Day #12 …My Christmas Eve Activities
Merry Christmas beautiful people! It’s Christmas Eve and Day 12 in my series.
It’s been a wonderful month full of all the things for the holiday and I’ve enjoyed posting some of my favorite things. Today is all about what my daughter and I do on Christmas Eve, and what better way to illustrate this is …well an illustration. If you’ve been following the blog you know I love watercolor illustrations.
Our Christmas Eve is pretty low key because we’ve already prepped and done what we can do. I’m thawing out my bird today, I worked on my table yesterday, and everything else is in progress.
The only other thing to is more chores (ya know, dusting, vacuuming, laundry). Otherwise there’s nothing else to do but sit back watch some movies, and do a few other fun festive activities.
In no particular order here are all the things we squeeze in on Christmas Eve.
The puzzle and karaoke have been new additions to the list. Last we finished a big one called The Holidays, this year we are working on a Charlie Brown puzzle. It’s the last scene in the movie where all the characters are singing in front of the tree. It seems easy but it’s been pretty hard because of the landscape.
Otherwise everything else is the same. We will watch some holiday movies, have some cocoa (I forgot to add that graphic), and finish up any gift wrapping. I just love Christmas! (Truley)
Now I’ve shared what we do on the eve of the holiday here are some cozy home shots.

Well family, that’s going to end for this post and this series. Thanks so much for hanging with me until Day 12. I’m taking a few days off from the blog, to relax and be with my family.
I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and a safe and happy holiday. I’ll be back to the blog right before the new year to round up 2021. — Peace to you and yours —
