The 12 Days of Christmas: Day #3 …A Few of My Favorite Holiday Things
Happy Holidays Friends and Welcome to the blog today. It’s Day #3 in the 12 Days of Christmas.
It’s Day 3 in my 12 Days of Christmas series and I’m sharing a few of my favorite things that I like to do during the holiday (and winter). My list is in no particular order but it’s all things that envoke the childhood memories that bring me joy, and everything I do with my (now grown) daughter during the season.
Loving my Favorite Things
If it were up to me I would do EVERYTHING on December 1st, but I’m human and I’ve learned that I can’t do it all. (LOL) So, I curb my excitment and stretch everything out over the course of the month leading up to Christmas Day.
I’m currently burning my winter candles (loving Sand & Fog scents), and my home is dressed and ready (LOL). Everything else on my list is already in progress as I just started a new Stephen King novel; it’s cold enough to wear my winter boots; and I’ve made 3 winter crafts (signage for the mantle and my room).
What are some of your favorite holiday things? Let me know down in the comments. Thanks so much for visiting today, and I’ll meet you back here tomorrow for more holiday fun. Don’t forget to like this post! — Merry Christmas!
i like everything on the list except for reading and crafting! i used to like making cookies but idk.. just seems like work now lol
and i haven’t done anything on the list yet except for wearing a sweater … i got some catching up to do!!
Baking is one of those things … you either love it or you don’t. I never baked a lot when I was younger. It’s just something that I do over the holiday, and I’ve only got cookies and pies down to where I feel comfortable letting other people eat them (LOL). Cakes I fall short, just can’t get the hang of it.
