12 Days of Christmas: Day 1 …What’s Your Elf Name?
Happy Holidays Fam! Welcome to the blog today …I’m glad you landed here in my little corner.
It’s Monday and today begins a series I call “The 12 Days of Christmas“. My goal is to post everyday leading up to Christmas Eve. I’ll share everything fun for the season as well as a few holiday traditions of my own.
Every year for the past few years I’ve posted this fun game (originally from Good Housekeeping) called What’s Your Elf name? It’s a great little game for family, friends or to even put in your Christmas cards this holiday.
You just pick the month that you were born and the first letter of your first name.
My name is Evergreen-Frostypants, my daughters name is Starlight-Snowballs, her BFs name is Evergreen-Snowbunny (aw man it just keeps getting more hilarious), my Mom’s elf-name is Starlight-Emberboughs (she wolud get a kick out of that) and my dad is Peppermint-Snowfig.
I say give everybody in your family an elf name and put that name on your gifts or dinner place cards with this sheet to figure out their names. It can get confusing folks born in the same month with the same first letter, then you might have to get creative and do a middle name.
That’s going to do it for this post. This creative way of getting in the spirit of the holiday. Be sure to follow and subscribe to the blog for more in this series. Have a great week! — Happy Holidays
this is so cute mine is starlight merrybottom
i dont think this year im getting my family anything lol we sort of agreed we don’t need to get each other gifts heheh
I think just being with family is a gift in itself, and when you’re older, you really can buy your own stuff. It’s just me and my daughter so we do exchange a few gifts. I stopped buying gifts for extended family when she was younger, it’s just way too expensive.
