12 Days of Christmas … Days 11 & 12, Merry Christmas Baby!
Hello friends and Merry Christmas! I’m doing a two-fer and today is Day 11 and 12 in the 12 Days of Christmas.
——
So yesterday was a bust as I meant to blog but the day just got away from me. It is the holiday, and I’m not making any excuses but it’s my time to decompress and enjoy this time. (Which is why I prepared this the day before).
Christmas Eve, I worked a half-day, and then took an epic nap. I don’t get to nap during the day but after I logged off work, a wave of sleepiness came over me and it was nappy-nap time for the next hour.
I spent the afternoon making my sugar cookies. Bianca did some cleaning and wrapped the last of the gifts. We are also working on this 1000-piece holiday puzzle, and we made our Christmas Breakfast Bake, followed by Christmas episodes of Laverne & Shirly, The Golden Girls, and Ghost Whisperer.
It would have been nice to capture some pictures of everything but sometimes when you’re in the moment … you want to be in the moment without stopping to capture everything. With that said I can’t leave the series empty, so I’m wrapping up with a recap of the series.
12 Days of Christmas Recap
Day #1, A Special Holiday Playlist Today I’m posting my Christmas Holiday Playlist with something old, some things new, and some remixed tunes, perfect to get you into the holiday spirit.
Day #2, What’s Your Elf Name This little Christmas game is so stinking cute, I just had to add it to my series. It comes from Country Living Mag and it’s called … What’s your Elf name?
Day #3, DIY Holiday Ornaments I decided pretty early on that I would change up my holiday theme for 2021 and my colors are going to be black, white, and soft pink. So I thought I would make some custom ornaments.
Day #4, My AM Holiday Routine Hello Friends! Today is a first of firsts because I don’t think I’ve ever shared an AM routine. Somehow I didn’t think it would work without a visual. I’ve seen all kinds of morning routines via YouTube so today I’m gonna try my hand blog-style.
Day #5, Best Books to Gift for the Holiday Books transcend all ages and make excellent gifts for friends or family. You can find them everywhere, they can ship in a day or be delivered in digital format.
Day #6-7, Lofi Holiday Mix What’s up people! I hope you’re enjoying the last weekend before Christmas, and not stressing. As you can tell music is one of my favorite pastimes. It moves me, soothes my soul, and brings back memories of my childhood, school years, and young adulthood.
Day #8 Holiday Movies for the Family Christmas is the time when the world relaxes and everyone is a little bit more forgiving, and kindness overflows. I’m feeling thankful for the many blessings that have come this year, and I know next year, the skies the limit.
Day #9, Easy Holiday Baking But this year I’m following a few simple cookie recipes that I incorporated last Christmas that were oh-so-nummy, and easy to make … even for me.
Day #10, Christmas Eve Traditions Christmas Eve is never set in stone, and I’m usually doing something different each year. However, a few things never change. Every year we add something new or update something old but it’s always fun.
Day #11 & 12, Merry Christmas Baby! So yesterday was a bust as I meant to blog but the day just got away from me. It is the holiday, and I’m not making any excuses but it’s my time to decompress and enjoy this time. (Which is why I prepared this the day before). |
Well everyone I hope you all enjoy the day and have a Merry Christmas. LifebyWyetha (or me) is taking a little break for the holiday to relax and decompress. I’ll be back next week recapping a year on the blog. Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you consider subscribing. –Merry Christmas!–
