31 Days of Halloween: Day #16 … Gothic Inspired Halloween Decor Ideas
Welcome back to my 31 Days of Halloween series. Today is Day #16, and I’m sharing some Gothic-inspired Halloween decor ideas.
Today is all about Halloween decor. I love decorating for the Fall and Halloween season. When I first moved on my own it didn’t hit me how important it was to personalize and decorate your as it evokes memories and a sense of belonging.
I’ve never had a particular style and since I’m in a small space, I create Halloween inspired niches on everything that has a surface. Decorating with pumpkins, signs, lanterns, and leaves, are fun, but I’m partial to the Gothic-Poe style of decorating for Halloween.
You don’t have to spend a ton of money to get the gothic style and you can find items to craft and up-cycle around your home.

Handbook for the Recently Deceased (Beatlejuice Replica)

Crystal Ball

Black Peonies
Spanish Moss (Black)
With just a few items you can create a gothic-style setting for Halloween or a haunted house motif. Some other items that set the mood are spider webbing, black gauze cloth, Kombucha bottles, old books, or thrift store items that give the look of something older or vintage.

I was never truly into Halloween decor because it always looked tacky and like decor u MUST take down once october is over. But this gothic style is more like me tbh, especially fancy looking candles lol
I can keep my Halloween/Fall things up until November, except for the skull and a few pictures in frames. I haven’t hung anything on the walls this year because my rental is temporary, so it’s less work that I have to do when I pack up.
