MONDAY Chat … 52 List of Calm

Happy Monday! Is it “hot” yet? That is to say, that I’m not a fan of hot weather but I know it’s the one thing that people look forward to during Summer. Under the circumstances and our current climate, there’s nothing wrong with that, and I send out prayers, and blessings to those of you who are out and about.

Today I’m still working through my journal but I’m jumping ahead a few lists because within this journal are a few drawing exercises, that would only make sense to the writer.
RECAP: These exercises require you to quiet the mind and focus on your senses. Maybe a favorite task, smell, or environment can trigger your calm, and give you balance.
52 List of Calm …

List #5 …
This list is a Releasing Exercise, and I love the idea. However, I don’t feel comfortable burning pages over a flame, so one would have to be careful about this one.
This Releasing Exercise is a means to get rid of all that tension and stress that you hold onto. Send it up in a flame, or shred in a paper shredder. Above all, if it’s holding you back, or if it makes you anxious it’s fear. Fear is your adversary. Most importantly, God does not want you to walk in fear, that’s not living in love, and in conclusion, you should love yourself.
Let’s Do it Again …
Everyone has stressors in their life, and I believe that these exercises are a good way to release them. Whether you do it once a month or twice a year, it’s a practice in acknowledging what interferes with living your best life and deleting that which causes you to not love yourself.
