Hello everyone!  You know how I love Friday’s.  It’s everything when you’ve worked all week.  The bonus is the holiday weekend, so that means an extra day which is exciting.  All the things I’m planning that I know I won’t get done, I absolutely love it.

Since the weather has been cooperating and I have extra daylight time, I’ve been able to work on two small DIYs, and take a few pictures.  I’m aware that you can take pictures at any time, but I’m a fan of natural light.  I take the best pictures from mid to late afternoon.  That golden hour makes everything look beautiful.  I’m hoping for a relaxing weekend, I may even get some bbq which is like summer on a plate. [lol]

Here’s What I’m Loving This Week

[1] More pictures!  I’ve wanted to create some header images for my blog with scrabble tiles.  We have a deluxe Scrabble game but the tiles are a cherry wooden color because it’s a special edition.  I just wanted something plain, so purchased these plain scrabble tiles from Amazon, and I love them.  Just a simple background and the possibilities are endless.

[2] Finally got around to working on some DIYs for my front door.  The contractors are almost done with our hallway renovations with the exception of the baseboards.  I think everything looks good against the crisp black door.

[3] I love my wooden beads, and I mentioned in another DIY post that I had enough beads to make several different items, so I made this wooden with some matte black beads … door knocker, and

[4] Finished the original wreath that I had planned to make. The pale color of the roses mixed with that pop of green with the contrasting color of my black door really makes the wreath stand out.

Organization Inspiration
