Hello friends, and Happy Friday After Christmas … are you glad it’s over? Are you ready for the New Year? Well, I certainly am not, but I’m ready for some time off. It’s been a great week as my office has been empty because everyone is on holiday vacation. Public transit is light, traffic is light … I mean … it’s the perfect time to be at work in my opinion, but after the first of the year, we burst right back into endless scrolling of our phones, gridlock, and the joys of the daily grind. I know it sounds daunting but it’s the daily hustle … as long as you can step away for a while to reset your mind and body.
I look forward to the reset, and this week has been full of blessings, and love … here’s a recap of this week.
We found really pretty gift wrapping and boxes at Target, but it’s been a challenge keeping my cats from chewing everything + Christmas Eve at the homestead was quiet as we watched White Christmas , Miracle on 34th Street , and Remeber the Night + [3 – 4] On my Christmas “to do” this year was baking so I made these Sea Salt…Rosemary, Dark Chocolate Cookies, and Rosemary Sugar Cookies + Everyone is represented on my tree … so we found ornaments that look just like both my cats … one grey and white, and one black and white cat, as well as initials for our names.
I was also very proud of myself for finishing two DIYs. It was one of those things that I set aside time to do, rather than getting all the materials and just being lazy … lol. Looking for some light DIY decor. Check out these.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today + and have a fantastic weekend!
