It’s the Friday before the holiday … are we ready? Absolutely … and if it didn’t get done … que sera sera. I have always enjoyed Christmas morning and feeling excited and anxious … however, now my daughter makes me wait so we can eat … listen to some music and then open some gifts. It’s really a nice quiet day, where I make dinner, and we watch Christmas episodes of our favorite TV shows.
So we will be enjoying Charlie Brown, Rugrats, Living Single, and What’s Happening … just to name a few. My last week was pretty busy as we are wrapping up this year in a barrage of meetings. Here’s last week’s rewind.
Putting out the last bit of holiday decor as well as my tree topper … not pictured, I always do some chalkboard art for every holiday … drawing always takes me out of my headspace [3-5] Holiday luncheons, and Annual meetings always end the year at my job, and [center] trying out a new NYX matte lip that I gifted myself for the holiday.
I always have grandiose ideas about creating this fabulous holiday wrapping, it looks so pretty until it’s torn into. Generally, I just like wrapping gifts, and I prefer something minimal like craft paper, but when I used it last year it was really hard to work with. I also like adding herbs, and I don’t have to worry about my cats messing with it or chewing it. I’ve found so many gift ideas on Pinterest and here are just a few.
