June Favorites [roundup]

Hello Friends + and Happy 4TH of July!  It’s time to roundup my favorites for June. These are not just the things that I’ve been using in June + but my goto Summer essentials. Let’s get to it.

I would agree that I’m not a baby + but when I was looking for some additional protection for my acne prone skin + this fit the bill. It doesn’t irritate my skin and I use this as part of my morning routine. Now fair warning it does leave a cast … so what I do is apply it all over my face + and then spritz my face with my aloe + cucumber + and green tea MB facial spray + then massage everything in. The stick is SPF 50 and protects against UVA and UVB rays. [summer essential]

[side note on sun protection | darker complexions do need protection from the sun especially if you have acne. When you get an acne scar or dark mark your skins healing defense from the sun is the turn the mark [area] darker as a part of the process. So sunscreen is essential]

This hand soap smells so good + I mean I could just smell it all day. It’s not over-powering + it doesn’t dry out my hands + and I trust the “Yes” brand. It’s gluten free + paraben free + sulfate free + and Leaping Bunny certified. [repurchase | yes]

I know … another MB product + but I love everything … and this is no exception. I need something a little heavier on my working hands + and this is perfect. The description says “travel friendly” + and that would be correct. I keep it in my bag and it travels well. This hand cream is lightweight and ideal for all skin types. [repurchase | yes]

I love this bronzer because it really warms my skin. I only add it to the apple of my cheeks but it gives me this fresh look as if it was [what else] kissed by the sun. A little goes a long way with the mineral powder so you don’t need a lot. It’s also Non-acneogenic, non-comedogenic, gluten free, non-GMO, vegan, cruelty free, bismuth oxychloride free, coconut oil derivative free and no nano or microparticles. [summer essential]

I keep going back to this cream no matter what I use. I’ve tried others but this defines my curls like no other. I can use this product everyday with no build-up or white cast. It does contain alcohol but that’s what holds the curl + however my curls are still soft … and if I use this with a hair butter in the setting process + my curls are perfect. This is my goto product for the hotter months. [summer essential]

This scrub is my weekend goto + I don’t use it everyday because I don’t think that’s good for my skin but on the weekends I love adding this to my routine.  This scrub is not overly abrasive + my skin feels soft + and supple.  It’s also non drying to my skin.  This scrub is ideal for combination + dry + or sensitive skin. [repurchase | yes]

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today + and don’t forget to “like” + “comment” + or “follow”. Show me some love and I’ll send it right back … Peace.
