I have a love of film photography that no too many people understand + when you tell people “I made that” + they really don’t understand beyond snapping the picture. To go from snapping a picture + to the chemical processing hoping you get at least 10 good negatives from a roll of 36 + then watching your image appear right before your eyes is amazing + but amazing things take patience + patience in the form of up to 1 hour for just one perfect print. A few brave photographers are taking that vat of patience + and creating some amazing photographs with film. This short story is about Billy Mork who began his career in the darkroom + switched to digital + then went back to his love in the calm of the darkroom and analogue film printing.
